An Introduction to the World of Risk Management

We live in an environment full of risk. The simple act of crossing the street as a pedestrian can be rife with danger, i.e., cars, buses and trucks ignoring traffic laws, bicyclists ignoring the pedestrian, a street full of potholes where one misstep can result in serious bodily injury.  To make matters worse, we live in a

 litigious society (over 40 million lawsuits are commenced in the U.S. every year). One lawsuit can be disastrous and end a business. This workshop will train participants to identify and cope with the day-to-day risks associated with an eye to managing the risks of getting injured or sued.
